The Family Space in Module 54 at the Humboldt Forum invites children
(ages 6–12) and their guardians to explore and express their personal worldviews. Developed in collaboration with various children from different communities, the installation uses artistic and interactive approaches to engage visitors with themes of spirituality, belief systems, and philosophy. Rather than offering fixed answers, the exhibition encourages an open exchange of ideas, allowing visitors to reflect on differences, discover commonalities, and connect with objects and practices from the Ethnological Museum and the Museum of Asian Art.

The installation features a large-scale media environment where visitors shape the experience through an interactive station. They can create animated collages using visual and sound elements, reflecting their own perspectives on belief and spirituality. These personal interpretations are then projected into a shared space, fostering encounters between different viewpoints.

Designed as a welcoming and immersive environment, the Family Space integrates seating and areas for discussion, ensuring both comfort and active participation.
